Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Magic Wand (the "Service"), operated by Velho ("Velho", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
1. The Service
Magic Wand connects, with your authorization, to one or more Google (Gmail, Drive, Calendar), Slack, Notion, and GitHub accounts to aggregate your context and produce a knowledge base, personal process maps, and automation opportunities. You may separately grant read-only access to supported AI hosts through Magic Wand's MCP integration. The Service provides analysis and recommendations and does not execute automations or modify any connected system on your behalf.
2. Accounts and authorization
- You must connect only accounts and workspaces you are authorized to access and analyze.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access and for activity that occurs through your connected accounts.
- You must comply with the terms of the third-party providers you connect, including Google, Slack, Notion, and GitHub.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party right;
- connect data you lack authorization to process, or use the Service to surveil individuals unlawfully;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
4. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party providers (including Google, Slack, Notion, GitHub, and OpenAI). Your use of those providers is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability is outside our control. Our handling of data received from Google APIs is described in our Privacy Policy, including the Google API Services Limited Use commitments.
5. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and, where required, consents to connect and process the data you make available to the Service.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Velho and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain all rights in the data you connect.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Automation opportunities and analyses are informational recommendations only; you are responsible for evaluating them before acting.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velho will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or €100.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Velho from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your data, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and disconnect your sources at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service, its users, or third parties. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Helsinki, Finland will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
